Burping!

Hi everyone

Im now 2.5 weeks post op and feeling rather good. Apart from the burping. I feel constantly full of gas! As soon as I start eating and drinking anything it starts.

Is this the same with everyone is it just something I'll need to get used 2 or does it ease?????

Hi yes it does go to a certain extent i still burp and get gassy more than before or if it's when ur starting to get full it might be your sign to stop. You will still be full of gas from ur op so it's best it comes out lol x

I still have a problem with the burping much to my husbands annoyance but you just can't help it try not to stop because there is nothing worse than the trapped wind it is very painfull it does get better with time. Wendy

i am 7 weeks post op and after i have eaten i have to burb for about 10 mins sometimes longer and its not a case of me doing it it sometimes happens itself so no going to posh resturants for me lol

I hardly ever burped before my op but now it's constant...
I hate it! I'd never go on a dinner date now, it would be so embarrassing

Oh dear... I've always been a farter! Certain foods make me terrible. lol
Does this mean I'll be an even worse farter or will I do both?

My burps are horrific! proper man burps from the bottom of my tummy :-/ I'd never burped or broken wind in front of my partner before so he found it really funny, I hate it! But it's a small price to pay if this op works for me. I'm dreading when I have to eat with all my colleagues as they don't know I've had it done so have that obstacle to get around then I will be burping after tea! Great! Glad its coming from the top end though rather than the bottom smellier end ha ha x

Try having a burp pop out whilst your training staff in the classroom! omg! Embarrassing! And what did I say......ooo I don't know where that came from lol
