Calling all Chichester Babes!!!!

Im off to Chichester this week with my sister who has an appointment with the Bariatric team there, she has been told to expect to stay all day can someone tell me what she can expect???

Also we are very interested in staying overnight and wanting a good Hotel near the hospital does anyone know of a good hotel nearby??

Is it her pre-op appointment?

If so, she will have blood tests, speak to the dietician and possibly the psychologist.

It can take quite a long time as they tend to see lots of pre-oppers on the same day who all need to see the various doctors and nurses.

Having said that I was done and dusted within an hour!

There is a Travel Lodge in Chichester but I am not sure how close it is to the hospital.

Hi I saw the whole team on my first appointment - specialist nurse, surgeon, psych, aneathetist and dietician. They saw 6 of us before lunch and then discussed us over theirlunch and then we all saw the surgeon again after luinch. I was finished by 3.30

I start my milk diet tomorrow and my surgery is on the 21 April.

Tried both of those and they were fully booked, have booked somewhere now, just cant remember where lol
