Cambridge Diet Drinks post bypass

Can I use any of these during the liquid only time post bypass - I've got a lot in the cupboard. I guess I could perhaps use them in the pre-op run up? Has anyone any ideas?

my surgical team said that you these sort of products could be used pre op, as long as your daily intake is around 800 cals. Post op I understand you are aiming for 1000 cals a day

best to check with your dietician though....each unit seems to have different criteria

I was told that they can be used pre-op but I didn't want anything so filling post op, I didn't and still don't have much of an appetite. I have had slimfast for nourishment when I have felt a bit feeble (lol) (only on about three occasions) when I simply haven't wanted to eat, then I have only been able to drink about a third of it at a time. They are so filling its unbelievable. It does feel nice to have them sometimes because you know they are full of vits and minerals.

I've a cupboard full of them too. I think I'm going to use them prior to my pre-op diet - anything to be healthier when it comes to being laid out on that operating table (up in that operating chair!)
