Can I ask a favour?

I was wondering if someone who is now on 'solid' food could post a photo of their plate just so that I can get an idea of portion sizes and how you fill your plate.

Thanks

Pre-op myself, but a friend of mine who had the bypass eats her meals off a saucer - she doesn't completely fill it either. It works for her and I think it's an idea I will steal when my time comes lol.

A full english for me is now half a poached egg,1 small sausage, small rasher bacon,1 tomato,2 small mushrooms and half round toast and Im full.
A roast is a chicken thigh,1 roastie, small spoon carrot, small sprig brocolli and gravy.
I can eat two weetabix or shredded wheat for brekkie.I eat off a salad plate but never fill it at all.and if I have take away its about 1/3 of a portion and a small spoon of rice

I use a mini cookware dish from Poundland and dont fill it. Its about perfect for me. You can get them from B & M too xxx

i would say a dinner type meal would be maybe a ice cream scoop of potato , scoop of 2 veg, whateva you having then meat/protein equiv. I can fit mine on a side plate. Instead of Sunday luch today i made mince and dumplings, I had half a small dumpling, cabbage, carrots, turnip half scoopof potato and mince. all fitted on my little side plate and still left potato, was lovely. xx There was enough left for my hubby to have a large portion for his lunch tomorrow afternoon, then I have put some in a ramakin for me for Monday and Tuesday tea and the veg that was still left i have also put in dish and put in fridge can have that with some other meat on Wednesday, means i get my veg every day without fail and a nice dinner, double wammy. xx

Added pics of today's dinner with tape measure for you :)

I eat from a side plate and I managed to eat all my salade but not the pastry on the quiche. It's very unusual for me to eat this amount to be honest I was very pleased with myself !
