Can i pick him up yet?

I am 4 weeks post bypass and have healed externally very well, I am desperate to pick my 11 month old baby up and give him a cuddle! But have been told no heavy lifting for 6 weeks.

He weighs 23 lbs and I have lost more weight than that!


Thoughts?

I'm 3 weeks post op and very very naughty I've been picking up my 6 month old since I was 5 days post op

Sit down and cuddle him, it's not worth hurting yourself.

Although this is very hard I only had to wait 1-2 weeks and that was bad enough xx

Just be careful you don't want to undo all the good work or give yourself a hernia xx
