I'm really suffering, as I'm sure most do. not sure if things like settlers or tums are doable? I just feel I need to roll around on my tummy and let it all out but maybe not eh? :D

Hi Dell
The trapped wind takes a while to disperse in the early stages. The best thing i found was walking around and using a hot water bottle on my stomach to break it up. I also used windeeze which my surgeon said was ok, i just broke up the tablet. Don't forget the air freshner lol cause once you start you won't stop! Hope you get rid of the horrible wind soon. xx

Hi im pre op but just to say hope you sort your problem out soonx

oh yes windeze would be fantastic! will add it to husbands shopping list :) thanks ladies!

I used deflatine as they melt in the mouth & found them more effective than windeze personally. Hope you find something that works. xx

Hmmmm, perhaps not such a great idea at the minute! So sorry go are feeling a bit rough with the old windy-poos at the minute. I'm not looking forward to that bit myself as I am already quite a windy person, lol. I've bought loads of different stuff (all sugar free of course) to take in with me, & I'm going to try them all to see what works best! Infacol, wind-eze, gripe water & deflatin, I've got the lot, lol! We're all different so some things may work better than others. Hope it eases soon xxx

You can get chewable Windeze, however i too found Deflatine helped better :) Trial and error, keep moving around. I also found warm drinks helped xx
