canderel on the pre-op ??

Im wondering if you can have canderel sweetener on the pre op diet ??
I have had conflicting opinions ????
what do you think ??

Im on the clear soup/ chicken/fish/green veg and green salad one.

I was allowed any sweetner pre and post op. I was advised to try and wean myself off them if I could as they are a chemical, but so far havnt tried as I do need some sweetie things in my life.

i was never told to avoid sweeteners, i use them in c offee or tea, and i do have the granulated one but up to now havent used that.

Im really pleased, i dont have it in coffee but have sprinkled a little on some baked apple, just wanted to check it was ok as i dont want to risk them not doing my surgery
