Before I had my op the only way I could manage to lose weight well was to carb count, I was only having 20g of total carbs per day & it suited me & my medical conditions... the only problem was like anything I couldn't stick to it!
Post-op I have been trying to stick to a similar theme but I'm wondering of 20-30g per day is now too low? I have had moments of feeling dizzy & wobbly could this be down to lack of carbs or just post op'ness??
Those of you that low carb what do you aim for as daily carbs?
Carbs will never be my friend as even now post op I can feel the craving to have something that I shouldn't if I've had something higher in carbs. My dietician recommended rich tea biscuits as a good treat...... I can't do them as I feel like I want to dive into the bottom of the barrel, is that head or body craving or sheer habit??
I do feel like I'll always have to watch my carbs but can you be too low post op?/
Sorry waffling again!!!
