Carrots coming out my ears!

Had a mad half hour & bought far too many carrots in my shopping this week. Decided to make Jamie Oliver's carrot & corriander soup. Delicious & soooooo easy (see his website) I added a tablespoon of 0 % fat Greek yogurt to it. Mmm lovely & a bit of protein. Have put some in the freezer. Great for all even those on initial stages. Enjoy!

I've had a look on the BBC food website - loads and loads of soup recipies on there. I think I have printed most of them off so I don't get bored at the soup stage

Great idea. Initially I could only mange beef or chicken consommé & just stocked up on Waitrose or Baxters tinned. I found it less salty that stock cubes or bovril. One tip when you make & free the home made soups put them into small portions. I ended up with larger portions than I needed on defrosting & ended up throwing a lot away.

I use quark to add protein & make them creamier

0% greek yoghurt is my absolute fave way for me to make things creamy and add calorie light protein. I add it to home made curries, soups, casseroles and lots of sauces. Yum :)

Me too don't know what I would do without 0% fat Fage yogurt.
