Today at work the current Director of Surgery came on the ward to see some of his patient . Well over the years I have watched him go through the ranks from junior houseman upto Consultant. So km the spur of the moment I said to him " in your capacity do you have any input with pct funding " he laughed & said not if can help it !
Anyway he said about criteria , I said I met it & he said " we fund anyone who meets criteria "
So I feel quite positive now , I should hear something soon

This is a pretty good indicator, Pandora, and I've not heard of Bournemouth being a difficult area to get funding.

When I was waiting for a decision from my PCT i phoned them and got a similar response, that I met all the criteria and therefore I *should* (in theory) get funding.

It's just waiting for the official letter that bugs us, though, isn't it? ;-)

I got mine a few weeks ago, so hope you have confirmation in writing soon, Pandora !!
