might give some a try because i ate gum regularly when i packed up smoking and found it really hard to give up before i had my band fitted and have been fine up til now, but just lately have been really missing it!
chewing gum is a no no as we banders often spit up throth from our pouches. chewing gum makes us naturally swallow our saliva and if a meal is in the later end of still draining from the pouch then the saliva build up on top isnt good and can cause vomiting.
thanks for the advice, i might give the odd piece a try and see how i get on because i know that in the past at times it has helped to curb my appetite. By the way love the sparkly piccy liz!
