The first few days are the worst, ive just finished 3 weeks of the same diet, 3 more to go. Im struggling today could murder a big mac. I suggest something spicy tomorrow for you to make things taste different.
You can add in as many spices as you like, most veg as much as you like, just limit root veg or any that are high in carbs. You can phone the dietician for advice too they are very helpful
Stick with it, it will be so worth it afterwards...
As for protein shakes, i brought from this site, as recommended by Mixxy i think. Low carb n high protein and if your not in a rush for delivery you can pick a date when they deliver it for free............ Oh yes and the banana and the toffee flavours were lush xx
Post op high protein drinks does it matter about carbs and calories or is whey protien ok i have ordered some samples of this Impact Whey Protein from Myprotein
oh by the way, stick with the pre op diet, the smaller your liver and the greater the weightloss the better, you don't wanna not have the op, these few weeks are the hardest strict diet of your life, but remember this, IT'S A FEW WEEKS TILL THE REST OF YOUR LIFE BEGINS, don't let this obstacle defeat you
My dietician told me that WW's do a vegetable soup recipe thats good and you can have it. He said any veg that grows above the ground like peppers, celery, cucumber and also carots even though they are root. Stick with it....Im starting mine soon and Im dreading it lol. X
