I like buying off e bay, but hate selling. had many time wasters in the past that didnt pay. why would you bid on something you had no intention of buying??

It's the hassle of listing and packing, plus pleasing everyone, it puts me off and yet I have loads and loads I would like to sell...

I think it's probably easier for people like me to just sell a manageable few items at once or it'll be too much...

Do you still have to pay the fees if items don't sell?

You have to pay listing fees but not obviosuly the final selling fees.

It is a pain packaging up and posting though but I've just put £439 in my bank from my PayPal

Well Mixxy, you are inspiring me to have a go, that's a good return... plus it's something that can be done from home.

I will have a little sale at some point soon and have a go... it's better to get rid than keep things unused for that rainy day...

The rainy day is here and I'm still not using all of the things I have saved up for it!

I am an Ebay addict too! I had a real clear out a couple of years ago over the summer hols while I was at uni; I had loads of stuff of my late Mum's & sister's that I couldn't bear to deal with for nearly two years, but I finally plucked up the courage to sort through it all & gain back a bedroom....I got nearly £2000 that summer! It can be a pain with newly registered buyers & everything is in the favour of the buyer now anyway, but it can be worth it!
