Cold/Flu remedies?

I have a cold which is not too bad at the moment but has got me thinking what types of over the counter medicines should we avoid post bypass?

Avoid all cough meds with sugar,any pain killers like asprin,anadin,night nurse,lemsip,anti inflammatory pills,gels and creams.
stick with codien,paracetamol,lemon in hot water,sugarfree linctus(ask your pharmacist)You are ok having things like allergy meds etc as long as they are sf.Always ask the team at the Spire if in doubt.Maz x
