cold milk arghhhh

3 days post op, just had a cold milk out of fridge only a few sips and its killing me,feels like its my oesophagus

You must stay away from cold fluids. Walk around for a bit and swing your arms around and help it move through ur band. xx( I did that with a slushpuppy on Day 3 and nearly threw it back in the shop!)

Thanks mrs p won't be doing that again in a hurry, still i will learn from my mistakes, what about later on down the line can you have them then?

i couldnt wait till i was on mushy stage ... got my hubby to drive to macdonalds to get me a mcflurry. i was so sick of soups and slimfast after having liquids for 4 solid weeks and my breath was horrid and my tongue was furry. i think my body needed it yum. no problem. wont be wasting my calories on one of those at the moment :sigh:

My hubby asked me did i have thrush as my tongue is horrid:cry: the thing is i dont have no appertite at all so have had a couple of milky coffees for the calories and a soup, tried a cold milkshake drink and it nearly killed me

I got oral thrush during the fluids only stage. I bought some daktarin oral gel from the pharmacy..that works great.

You have to drink enough so that you pee enough! Keep sipping. Xx
