confidence boosts this week

I have been out of work since March this year and had the bypass 1st April.

For several weeks I have been job hunting and had very little response.

This last 2 weeks have been manic though.. I have had 4 interviews and offered 3 jobs!


My confidence must be growing! I guess the interviewers could see how happy I am now.

Today's interview was fantastic. It is with Asda as a home delivery driver. I left the group interview (of 14 others) and within 20 mins I had the call to say I had been successful.

I am over the moon!

Well had a 2nd interview with Asda,, they changed the criteria,,

The vacancy was advertised at 35 hours week. now they are only offering 20 hrs a week and the pay is only just over minimum wage :cry:

So I have accepted the other job,, which is more hours and more pay..
I start Saturday... Ohhhhhh nervous but excited. Can't wait to be back at work

The other job I am taking is in the private care sector as a senior care assistant in a large residential home for the elderly.

It is something I have done before but I really did fancy a change from care work.. oh well,, I can always keep looking. At least I am getting back to work
