And i really want to get into a routine of when to take these tablets, i have the acid reflux ones, A to Z and calcuim! I'm sure i need iron too which i can get fro my doctor tomorrow, but pls can someone give me advice on when to take them! Feel confused. Annie

Hello Annie, When did you have your op. For the first month I used the bassetts chewable vitamins...very tasty a bit like wine gums. I only went over to the larger tablets after that..

Good luck, hope you can sort something out:)

Hi hun im on foreceval and lasoperazol and iron. x How are you not seen u about for ages xx

Dont take the calcium and vits together, the calcium stop the vits being absorbed or something!

Either buy chewable vits ... or see if your pharmacist has a "pill crusher" and might be able to pulverise your A- Z vits (I know some pills can be quite big).

Defo ask pharmacist for advice and what other options there are.

I take osteocare and sanotogen a-z at night before I go to bed, should I be taking them together?

Nope.

Lanzaprazole, calcium, iron and multivits (forceval) all have to be taken separately. Easiest way is just before breakfast time (lanzaprazole), lunchtime, dinner time and bedtime.

Hi.

Iron must be taken on an empty stomach. Therefore, you must have nothing to drink/eat/other pills 45 min. before you take iron and 45 min. after (except for water). Don't take iron in the middle of the night (which would seem like a good idea) unless you want to sit up for a half hour b/c if you take it & go right back to bed it can wash up your esophagus & irritate it and/or leave residue on your teeth. If you can take in first thing when you wake up -- take a shower, etc., then you can eat breakfast 45 min. later.
