i am a healthier weight patient and just approaching the two year mark. I've had a lot of band issues, some that have been going on for months and which, as yet, they have not positively resolved. It's been a bit of an ongoing battle at times and while in my first year I felt confident in the after care, I don't personally feel that way when things weren't going great.
As with all providers there will be good, bad and indifferent experiences. I went with them as the surgeon had zero % mortality and that for me was a must have and they were only one of the providers after 7 years of research that could offer me that rate.
Their guidelines are very different to many other providers, they take time over fills and amounts to limit band issues, slippages and difficulties which can happen, but on the other hand this can be frustrating when results often seem to take a while.
