Consultation Done

Oh dear, went for my consultation today and met the team.... i was there 4 hours though which was a bit uhhhhh, saw the consultant who explained the procedure to me and made a call to the anesthetics guy who said he was happy to do the surgery but needed an ecg because of my medical history. There machine isnt working so have asked me to have it done at GP and send results.

The op will be on Saturday and a time will be advised before the week is out and this is all exciting to me but very scary. The dietician was fantastic and she knows how we feel as she was a 119 kg;s but now a size 10 with no saggy bits or surgery,

The muse on the other hand used me as a pin cushion was not gentle and just wanted to get it over and done with which i thought was nasty but hey she eventually found a vein after 18 attempts!!!! arms hurting.

i am really excited and hope that my GP surgery can give them all the information they need as soon as possible as if they delay i moght not be getting surgery on Saturday which would but me all out of sync and probable wownt do it after.

Thank you all for your messages of encouragement and good faith, i will continue to read all your inspirational stories and learn from them.

I am so nervous, excited, scared and already imagining what it will be like to be able to walk up the stairs without feeling like without so many health issues, being able to run, being able to play with my daughter running after her and rolling in the grass and being able to get up without needing help, hell and wearing clothes i saw and thought ohh that will be nice no need to try cause i know i am a size 12 ..... wow, its cool to dream of the greener slimmer side.

these are the things i would like to be able to do when slimmer:

run
play with daughter
run a mini marathon
buy sexy underwear
wear high heels
tick in my t shirt inside my jeans
fit in the shower with my partner
stop snoring
have clavicals
have a face with one clearly defined chin
the list goes on.............................................

Update

Hi all i have had my ecg done to day at GP surgery they say they can probably send it off tomorrow should the doctor doing the mail read it today or am tomorrow. My concern is that i was diagnosed with dialated cardiomapathy two years ago due to child birth i have been ok and on medication, i was asked to give the surgeon a letter from cardiologist saying that i was on the mend. When i went to GP to day they only have a letter from march last yr saying that i was on the mend and they would see me in 6 months, my GP does not have any other mail reflecting appointments after.... this is worrying. But i hope they still operate as i have a bi-opsy about 8 weeks ago under anesthetic and was fine after no problems what so ever.

So will call tomorrow to find out form both GP and Surgi-care if this will be ok.
