1. Does Next stuff come up small?

2. What do scallops taste like? Are they good protein and low fat?

Thanks. Just been watching 3 hungry men on the telly and they had scallops and found a dress I really like on ebay in a size 22 and I'm more a 20 these days.

ive never tried them but someone told me they were chewey. i think they are high in protein being a fish.

ooh the dress do you know somebody who could take it in for you x

I could take it in, but it's £25 including postage which I think is a lot for a dress on ebay (I'm being a cheap skate while I'm losing ha ha) and I don't want to have to take it in straight away if you know what I mean.

My first thoughts... Are that if you are indeed a cheap skate then why are you buying a dress in a 22 or a 20 when your likely to not fit it soon with loosing weight? Is it something that you can and will wear everyday or just a one time special event type of dress? I mean with this cold weather you really cant wear many dresses and if there is a chance its too big now then in a months time if the weather is nicer then it will probably be huge on you

oh i see your point... yeah £25 is steep considering your gonna be getting smaller... oh well hun look away and think about the person who does buy it... they will prob look crap!! lol x

Hi hun next fittings are quite small x

I know but I have to dress smart for work and I'm running out of things to wear. It's a knitted dress that I'd wear with tights and long boots so quite warm really. I'll show you.

it's a lovely dress but seems very narrow at the waist line . have you sent them a message asking measurements :) don't forget the models are size 6 or 8 and won't look the same on 20/22

Well if its for work and your certain you will get the use out of it, then go for it! Since its a dress, if you wear a jacket over it as you loose more weight it wont look huge on you right away so you can get a little use out of it at least and of course you can re-list on e-bay when you are done with it yourself :D

Although, did you e-mail the seller asking if they will get anymore in a size 20? Because I would do that first, just in case you get lucky. They could have one lying around.

Love scallops, as long as they are cooked correctly. They do not take long at all, little bit off oil in a pan, nice and hot, place them in a clock face, by the time you have placed the last one it's usually time to turn the first one over, they take 2-3 mins max to cook. They are not fishy at all. I like them with a bit of phili and whole grain mustard and broccoli mixed in right at the end, Mmmmmm enjoy!

Oh and yeh I agree with the others...why spend £25 on a dress you can't try on and probably won't fit you for long!

i've never had scallops either but watch masterchef all the time and they do look good :)

Check out bonprix, they have some lovely stuff in all sizes and are cheap. I personally would want something special for £25 from ebay but i really am a cheapskate :)

Its a lovely dress but a bit pricey for ebay, have you tried asda recently? They have some very reasonably priced work type clothes.

I love scallops but if they are overcooked they can get chewy :jelous: x

matalan have some really nice work stuff too and they're usually well priced :) and if you buy from the papaya range instead of roger roger they're cheaper too, i bought some black pants £10 on papaya and £12 on roger roger and they were exactly the same except for the label xx
