Leg cramps can be caused by a lack of salt, it may help to by adding a bit of extra salt to your soups or whatever you are on at the moment, it might just be that because you haven't eaten much yet, your salt levels are low. Good luck.
Yes bananas are good they release i think its lactic acid when youve been exercising your legs even if its walking they help the muscles and tendons go back to what they were. Lots of leg stretches will help and not staying in one spot too long keep turning over in bed. xx
