I had one the following day.............i had been sick under the anasthetic (the dye they use to test your pouch) it was blue all down my face neck and back i looked like a smurf, so stayed in ages getting it off me x

Thats good news you can shower so quick... wasn't sure with the wounds. x

Depends on what dressing they use. Most use waterproof ones so showers are no problem, if they don't put them on, ask for them!

Took me until Day 4 but that was because I felt so pants and no help was forthcoming. It was wonderful though.

same as the others, as soon as the tubes were out of my tubes, in there i went!! absolute bliss to feel the hot water and feel clean again, makes you feel human again!!

I was having a rather nasty TOTM so i needed a shower the next day and had my dressing taken off...to reveal i had been glued together!!! no outside stiches, Brill!!!!
