Anyone else out there do cross stitch?
I have done it for around 20 years and a tad obsessed i find it takes my mind off food when im stiching so im doing a lot right now.

I used to but the eyes wont let me anymore.
I now do knitting for reborn dolls and sell the outfits on ebay

I am just starting doing cross stitching again. I went a bit mad and bought lots of stuff before Christmas, kits, frames etc and it is all still sitting here in the packages unopened. Must stop doing that.

You have inspired me to at least open them and make sure everything is there.

i have done 2 wedding samplers since christmas for my cousins weddings i just carnt put it down haha x

I like cross stitch. I go through spits and spurts of doing it ...

I love doing all those kinds of things, knitting, crotchet, dressmaking etc. I have really got out of practice - as I got bigger I just lost interest. I have this lovely wall plaque thingy of a butterfly with Japanese writing on the side. I did not read what I was buying and it does not have the squares printed so you have to work out where the first stitch goes and work from there. Even the threads are complicated - I spent half an hour trying to sort them and gave up! Not like me - so I should try again. If I can do that one the rest will be easy.

I'm also a keen sewer and like to knit and crochet. But since I got so big I could never get comfortable sat down. I felt heavy inside myself if you know what I mean. Hopefully as I lose more weight I will be able to settle to do some sewing. I make soft furnishings, very heavy silk curtains with padding and lining and posh bedding and throws. I have recently bought a load of silk to make christening robes and can't wait till I get myself motivated. I probably wont start anything yet though as I have a big garden and gardening is my second fave hobby.
