Date for Surgeon following pct yes

Dutch

Goodbye Tum
Hi, it seems I'm the only one tucking my tummy into my jeans and opting for new boobs hee hee,

Got my letter today to see my surgeon on the 28th nov aaahhhhhh great.

Everyone I've spoken too seems to think I'm just having implants they don't seem to realise that breastfeeding and almost ten stone loss and my ninnies look like spaniels ears (no offence spaniels reading this)
Anyway, keep you all up to date, god bless the NHS xx

Good luck Sarah - hope your appointment goes well!!! Will be following this with interest - hoping to lose 11stone in total (eventually) and have already discussed breast reduction with my GP who is very supportive - unfortunately despite an (original) 5stone loss my boobs have refused to get any smaller so causing me mucho grief in the back department. I wouldnt mind so much except they are currently hanging somewhere around my belly button :D Now theres an image...

can i ask why your pct says yes to ba? cant find the criteria for our health authority. Do you get to pick size ect with nhs??
Just being curious as am in same boat but had tt done already on nhs so will probably be funding new boobs lol

I couldn't find Preston's cryteria but I found one on line and it says you have to have lost at least ten points on your bmi, and be a bmi of less than 28. When I initially saw the surgeon he said they're not allowed to make you bigger as that would be seen as cosmetic (???) but to hold all the horrid floppy flesh I wear a DD anyway but the surgeon said if he did just a lift I would be totally flat chested as all I have is the skin. I have been looking at myself with bra's padded out and think a D would suit now, I'm 34 27 34 and very active, do loads of running and peak energy classes so don't want too much to bump around with hee hee xx I'll let you know exactly what they say, I'm not doing tt yet, I wonder if then I'd want my thighs and bum doing and end up looking like a jigsaw xx

I hadnt really thought about how boob augmentation works - so you will be getting implants? Sorry to sound naive! Just want some idea of the score as I hope to have mine done once the weight is off. My GP is actively encouraging me! Bless her. She has referred me to physio as have back pain which is boob related, and funnily enough this has increased since I lost weight because my boobs have not got any smaller, but they no longer have my belly to prop them up!!!! She reckons by having it in my medical notes early, it will help my case if I do want to go for surgery once the weight has gone.

I am a G cup currently by the way, but much like you I think alot of that is excess skin!
