Not as much pain as expected - to be go honest none - bit gurgley and can't sleep. Bored to hell as well. Fed up of day time tv already. Shame it's not the summer as could at least get a tan. Noticing tummy going down but won't weigh till I get back to work on 26th as they have the scales I use and don't want to become obsessed.

How are u coping.

Im sleeping ok, just! Managed to sleep a bit on my left side last night which isi much better for me! We been staying at my parents & we are going home tonight so looking forward to getting in my own bed!

Im the same with daytime tv! Bored out of my head, been out for a wander around some shops today so im pooped now lol was worth it to get away from the rubbish!!

Im enjoying having someone to compare with :) xx

Glad your sleeping and it will be nice to be home with all the comforts. Planning my first trip out this weekend - keeping busy today with washing and a little ironing. You can't not do anything when your a parent :)

This is very true but be careful! The told me no ironing or hoovering for 6 weeks!

As long as you are careful ;) x

Hi Sam, how you doing today? X

Hi not too bad - bit of a gassy tummy. Had an afternoon nap which was lovely as I actually slept. Enjoyed an egg with a bit of tinned spag and a grate of cheese.

How have you been today now your home?

Much better now im home! Sleeping much better

Hey sam how you getting on? What sort of things you been eating? Dunno about you but im getting bored & quickly!!

Hi changed the bed on Saturday (super king) and really did too much so hubby told me off. Had a trip out on sun for an hour first time out since op. been eating the tinned mince with baked spud and got some aunt Bessie's carrot and swede mix - purée it all separately and pop in microwave - only a small amount but tasty. Had some spag bolignaise out of tin which is nice. Made a mango and raspberry sorbet which was easy ie frozen fruit bit of orange juice and blend - nice and refreshing got some oxtail soup for the week too - nice and beefy. Not having eggs too often as they bind slightly. Just trying all sorts for the flavour. Dreaming of a steak and scotch egg lol. How have u been ?

Im not having to do anything cos hubby works shifts & has been home

Been eating chicken in white sauce, rice pudding, fromage frais etc but getting fed up with it, im used to having spicy foods so everything is boring & bland, i know its not forever but still.......

Im at the soft stage now so also had scrambled egg a few times & have stopped pureeing everything

Just generally fed up......

Had my staples out today & my wounds look really clean & straight so hopefully the scars will be "nice" lol

Mine were glued so at least I don't have to go back and have staples removed ouch. I've been adding some pepper to my mash which gives a kick. I love chicken in white sauce - wasn't sure I should have that - doing it with pasta for son tonight so will get another couple of Tins. How about trying the tins of chicken curry as the meat is really soft in them - that may help with flavour. Funny what you dream about when you can't have it lol.

Ooooh tinned curry! Good thinking! Thanks :)

The thought of having the staples removed was much worse than it actually was!

Think im just feeling sorry for myself tbh

Just want to have something a bit more crunchy, melba toast or ryvita or something lol

Ah well should hear from my dietician in next few days......2 weeks after the op

I get tired easy, been going out for little walks around the shops etc but i notice how tired i am if i go between meals!!

I only have a check up mid December no dietician contact so would be interested in what yours says :) tinned curry sounds good as they now do the red and green Thai and other various ones. Looking forward to crisp breads too but they will come :)

I'll let you know!

Im confused cos i can have pate, houmus etc but what are you supposed to have with it if no melba toasts or crispbreads?

Lol

How you doing chick? X
