Hello

Just wondering if anyone went armed with any information/ammo when they went too see their surgeon for a decision.......................

Thanks in advance - MeJulie x x;)

P.s. If yes , what ?? Ty once again x

I wrote a list of all the issues my weight causes and I went with an open mind. I told them 'Whatever you say is best goes - your the expert'........that was October 22nd 09 - band going in Feb 9th 2010 :D

I went with a huge list of questions after stressing myself out for days, then my appointment with the surgeon lasted about 8 minutes, he agreed with my decision for a bypass and that is that!!!

Just be completely honest about your eating habits hun, dont stress yourself out by thinking of every question under the sun but if you think it will help you keep focused and on track then take a few questions written down. I tend to waffle so having a few questions or infact, reasons why I wanted this operation. I asked things like, when will I be able to exercise again, or what will my weight loss be like 2 years down the line. I tried to keep them positive.
As long as you come away happy with what was discussed you can always email the surgeons secretary with anything you forget or of course ask on here :)
Good luck!
