Hi all,
I'm just wondering about going to the theatre to see a show tomorrow night. Living in Buxton, we have a fantastic little theatre and are eligible for cheap tickets. By tomorrow I will be 6 days post op, but I'm feeling alright in myself, if not a little stir crazy, cooped up in the flat.
Does anyone think it is too soon to go out, or do you reckon I'll be ok??:party0023:

I promise only to drink bottled water in the interval!!:angel:
 
if you feel ok and take it very easy, dont get too close to anyone in case of an accident, i dont see why not :D
 
I went out on Sunday for the first time to my grand daughters 2nd birthday party. I was out for about 6 hours & I paid for it yesterday but there is a difference between that & sitting in a theatre. I think you will be fine, honey in fact it will do you good to feel a bit more normal. Enjoy ... might join you, lol xx
 
I'm off for a slow n steady walk at meadowhall tomorrow, with plenty of sit downs inbetween! I wouldn't think twice about going kath...! Enjoy :)

Do take things easy hun the tiredness creeps up and bites your skinny ass before you know it,you might be knackered the next day!
 
Go for it! Am 16 days out and up at 4am for a 3 day 'break' to Alton Towers!! xxxx

This is true!! :D One day you feel ok, then the next you are flat on you back on the sofa snoring away like there is no tomorrow (personally speaking) ;)

You will be the best judge, if you feel strong enough go for it! Although if you are going to see someone with the initials SM you might wish you had stayed tucked up in front of Corrie x
 
I will do my best! Going to try the little rides and see how I feel. Deffo staying off the big uns. Have done them all before except 13 but there is always next year! Think a trip to the spa may be on the cards xxx
 
Hi Kath, I am glad that you are getting on well :D You should be fine to go to the theatre. 8 days post op I went on a weeks canal boat holiday! :eek: It was great fun, but just listen to your body. Enjoy the show xxx :D
