Hiya

I've got a bad bad tummy bug and visiting the loo every 15/20 mins and all I'm drinking is water!

I'm pretty dehydrated/low BP/Dizzy but want to avoid venous rehydration as much as I can!! I've only been out of hospital a month!

Does anyone know if the oral sachets are suitable for bypassers? Last thing I want is to dump too!!
Nic x

Went to see emergency doctor and he had no clue! I've lost 6lbs since Friday night and BP is 80/60. Onto my team tomorrow! :(

I've had these sachets before and I was ok(and I dump on a lot of things)
On saying this everyone is different when it comes to dumping....
As for emergency doctor, this is something we bypassers have to get used to when it comes to docs/nurses and advice.
Unless they have been trained a little in this field...hope u get better x

It's hard in the early days...sickness,diarrhoea..body is drained because we are virtually starving ourselves.
It does get better xx

i use them very regular havent seen anyting in the info about bypass etc etc and as they are asically salts to rehydrate i would think maybe ok but would double check fiorst

Thanks. The first ingredient is glucose so decided against them! Emergency GP said just keep drinking water, but goes straight through within 20 mins :/

Hopefully my team will know the answers!!
