Dissapointed in myself

happy days

New Member
I had a real blow out Saturday night, nearly two bottles of wine, crisps and a small mr Kipling cake ( all be it I was that drunk can't remember eating the cake )
Gutted today when only lost a pound which is hardly surprising.
It's just showed me how easy it wud be to slip into my old ways. 33 weeks post bypass I cud kick myself fir being so stupid.

To err is human, Happy ... guess you won't do it again but what a shame you don't even remember the cake :D Don't beat yourself up, sweet ... you still lost a lb xxx :D:D

well thats what normal eaters do, now just behave yourself and everything is ok :) just dont make a habit of it! or me and twink will :copon::whip:

It happens hun, as long as you know where you went wrong and get back on track theres no harm done, just a shame you dont remember the cake!! lol
X

Thanks guys the worst thing is I don't even like cake lol x
Can allways rely on you all to make me feel better.
It is scary how easily things go down after alcohol.

I kind of know how you feel - yesterday I know I ate too much, but I've been so excited I can eat almost "proper" food after my op now that I just had too much and felt sick afterwards, both from the food and at my actions.
But these habits have taken a lifetime to form, they're not going to disappear overnight. The trick is to learn from them and alter your behaviour little by little so that you have the rest of your lifetime being as healthy and happy as you can.

At least that's my view :)

Your right mio it's all about learning by our mistakes. I've overate from been a child so it's alot of years of bad habits.
I wish you well on your journey, it's great when you get to normal food x

Don't beat yourself up, Karen x
