Been a bit poorly for the last week, had the flu and since I've had I've hardly been able to get anything down, even brought cough medicine back up yesterday:cry:Anyone else experienced increased tightness when down with a cold/flu?
I'm sorry to hear that Judy xxx I think moods / bugs and all sorts affect how the band feels inside us... like for example cortisol when stressed and how it seems to puff up the stomach tissue making the band feel tighter.
It wouldn't suprise me if it was a similar thing to that.
I saw earlier from an answer to another post that your restriction is pretty strong anyway at the moment.
Rather than suffer too much , would you consider arranging a tiny defill...even a mil or half a mil could make all the difference without spoiling your restriction too much xx
Feel better soon
Yes and I think it may be a bit of tightening too it after my car crashed into a wall this time last week. On the plus side though the combination of having to walk everywhere and being ill, I have lost a couple of pounds this week lol!!! Just managed a quarter of a chicken and mash pie ready meal so feel a bit better for keeping that down, am also on the multi strength Beroccas too so hopefully will sort myself out soon! Neen - I only had a half mil fill 6 weeks ago so can't afford to pay to have any taken out, but sure it will settle down when things are sorted
I hope it is just a combination of the stress and flu type yucky stuff that is causing the temporary tightness then Judy xx
I think if you can try and have plenty of good fluids, soups etc til you feel better hopefully that will help too x
I hope the pounds stay off too! xx
Mine does get tighter but if I am poorly I tend too stick too soups/shakes and try too ride it out as such Rather then get more uptight coz I cant manage nowt I find it easier just too stick too soups/shakes as I know I be ok on them xx
