I'm five days post op and at last most of the wind has gone.. Walk a bit ,gently sway forward backward sideways ... Worked for me but it took till today for it to really shift. Xx

Hi there, here I am still walking the corridor but no relieve. Been drowned in peppermint tea, defflatine etc. Agony cant describe this pain.

I know hun its horrid :(. (((((Hugs)))))) xx

Morning all. At last I had a good night. Deflatine, peppermint tea and walking the corridor seemed to eased most of the trapped gas. Hope it is gonna stay like that.

That is so good to hear hun you were in my first thoughts when I woke this morning. I still get little pockets now and again but because I'm not so oooooww as i was a few days ago & can now move better they are getting easier to shift .. I have seen me on the bed on all fours rifting away... Not a nice picture sorry folks but it works :giggle:

Hi, congratulations on having your surgery. Took me nearly a week to get rid of the wind pain but it gets better day by day and then one day you will wake up and it's totally gone.

All the very best.

AE.

congratulations on having your surgery. I have to say I'm really not looking forward to this wind when I get my sleeve.

I Have had all my pre op assessments so its not going to be long so im told although I think its going to be a last minute as I agreed to have if off site from Kings College

The wind where's off the more you move the better it gets but its a small pain for the bigger gain you'll be fine well done

Thats the question I want to know, I have had everything I had to wait a month after my tests for a lung function test, I also asked them would they need to do the first test again as they were over a month old. She said they last for 3 months. Hmm so I puzzled what the hold up is. I really would love to know when it is Lol. perhaps I should ring the surgeons PA.
