Don't know if I can have my endoscopy

My partner has had the flu for the last couple of weeks and I've woke up this morning, full of it, sore throat, headache, aches & pains, blocked nose, feeling like crap basically but I've got my endocopy on Wednesday and now I'm thinking they might not do it. I've been to Asda chemist before work and got stocked up on medication to try and shift before then. Does anyone know if they will still do it if I can't shift it before then.

Keep yourself dosed up, these things can go as quickly as they come, I know they wont be able too see your aches and pains but if ur bunged up nasally and have sore throat they will notice that when they put the tube down ya throat , I would imagine unless u have improved they will decline to do it as there is the health issue and spreading of germs, Get well super fast and I hope things turn out good for you xx

i agree give them a ring and ask them its still a few days away and you could be better by then so try not to panic too much.

i can only see a problem if either you have a chest infection or a blocked nose other than that you should hopefully be ok.

just load up on flu stuff and relax xxxxxxx

Got a letter last night to say my appt has been brought forward to Tuesday 9th, been to the Doctors this morning and got some anti-biotics for my throat, Doctor said he wasn't sure if it was viral or an infection but because of the endoscopy he would give me them and hope they work, fingers crossed xxx

how typical is that when you need the extra day they bring it forward !!!!!
