yeah its very strange, you'll probably find that when/if you stall, you'll be really fed up with not losing weight, but you'll drop dress sizes lol :) xxx

oooo i really do hope so xx

And remember dress sizes vary immensely from shop to shop, one shops 18 might well be another shops 14-16.
Em xxxx

And be honest - could it be that the dress size you started at was just a wee bit tight, and you should really have been in the next size up? Which would mean you have dropped more than 1 dress size.
My 10 stone loss has seen me move from size 32 to size 20, so it will average out over time.

Strangely enough when I started this journey I found size 26 too tight. Then it started to fit nicely. Nearly 4 months on and my clothes range from size 20 to size 24. I am dreaming of being just size 20 in a few months. I couldn't believe when I was able to put on size 20 jeans that's been in my wardrobe fir 4 years - brand new and unworn. I popped into Evans just to amuse myself that their size 24 was too big. Anyway size varies in each store so don't worry yet :)

bit like my bra size... i thought i would go down in bra size considerably considering i have lost 9 & half stone and they have deflated... but no!! i was 42 JJ m now 40J lol.... im still having to buy bras which cost a lotta lol x

its defo not the case of me wearing clothes that are too tight, ive always worn my clothes baggy to hide my fatness..hmmm its all very baffling xx

I've lost just over 3 stone and gone down 2 sizes. Bra size back and cup have gone down too (much to DH's disappointment!)

I have lost 8 stone and my bra size was 48G and is now 38G. Dress size, my clothes ranged from a 26 to 32 depending on fit and style. Now i can fit into mainly 18 - 20 tops and 14 - 16 and 18 bottoms again depending on style and fit. Also depends where you shop as well, I can fit into a 16 from Evans but not from Sainsburys or Tesco. I have to have an 18 or even a 20 depending on again the style/fitting. x

I've lost 6.5st and gone from20/22 top and 18/20 bottom to a 12/14 top and a 10 bottom :)

I have lost just over 9st and gone down from a size 26 to a 12-14. I always had hour glass figure, but just in very large proportions previously. Your dress size may not have changed much yet, but what about your posture ?? Do you find yourself standing more confidently and feeling more comfortable in yourself :)

Totally agree with you there flutterby. My posture is miles better and so many people at work have commented on the difference in how I walk and in my posture. Some have even noticed my breathing is so much better.
