ECG Test

Received a letter from the Bariatric Nurse today, for me to go for a ECG test is this normal, and part of the course for WLS.
I haven't got a date yet for Surgery.

yes hun normal i had to have one too which was a giggle as the nurse couldn't get a clear one, and took several attempts LOl oh my anxiety is a pain sometimes lOL

Hi as Crystal says this is normal. It's mostly for the anaesthetist so they know how to look after you. Mine showed up a murmur but that wasn't a problem for surgery x

totally standard practice. mine was done at my pre op along with a whole host of other tests

I had one as well my guy said I had "a perfect heart" I was so happy to hear that I almost wanted to kiss him !
