Eek, is there a February surgery thread yet?!

I met Mr Byrne yesterday and he has agreed to a sleeve!

I think he would have liked me to do the by-band-sleeve study but I want to be able to donate a kidney at the end of it so would have entered the study but worry a by-pass could cause issues to prevent donation.

But he's going to book me in for February as I can't take time off work after mid December and am going to Tobago end of January otherwise it could have been sooner.

Just got to wait for a date for the MDT and then I'll be ready!

I'm just really pleased I've been approved now

I had a call today, they've had a cancellation and have offered to do my sleeve next Thursday! I go for my MDT tomorrow.

Am quite excited and nervous
