Endoscopy

Just at Sunderland waiting to go in for my endoscopy. Just been told my op will 6 months. Gutted thought it would be quicker than that but hey I know I'm impatient, Karen x

Everyone is impatient hun, the waiting really is the pits! But just look back 6 months and see how quickly its passed, you have christmas coming up too so that will make the time go more quickly........you will be starting the dreaded pre-op diet before you know it XXX

how did your endoscopy go? ive not long had mine. the wait wont be so bad just keep focused and the time will pass quickly you have done all the hard parts now.

6 months will fly by and your date will be here before you know it, it may not seem that way now, but thats how you will think once the date draws near it just creeps up on you....good luck xxx

Hi karen the waiting sucks love, iv been at my wits end with it all, but everyone is right it will soon pass.
At least you are on the list now and thats a great acheivement in itself so Well Done xxxxx

They have found ulcers so they have given me medication and I have to have another endoscopy in about 6 weeks

No I have to wait and see what happens at the next one

i have the same karen - ulcers caused by Hpylori... sick as a chip! but hoping the meds sort me x

o gosh i thought if you had ulcers you were in severe pain, fancy not knowing but worrying actually..... i hope your well soon x

Hi MrsSAFC I hope so too, do you have to wait another 6 weeks before you can be put on the waiting list?

i was told by mr schroeder that i was on the list before my endoscopy as i had met and exceeded my target - i have been now told by mr balpuri i am still on the list however if this is not sorted by the time my turn comes up i will be put back.... they are also waiting for my sleep apnea tests and the same applies if anything was to show up no op until it had been sorted.... i have had no letter confirming the list or anything since!

i had/have no symptons of ulcers at all... i was told i had hernia then told i didnt - the endoscopy confirmed i do have a hernia... that will be sorted tho its just these ulcer things!!

hi honey hope you are ok - did you ask for a copy of all corresondence that is sent to your doctor to also be sent to you . i did and thats how i always know whats happening

yes i did say when they asked me - i have rang my doctors about something else and asked them - they havent had any letters yet either so guess they just on a go slow....

Had my endoscopy yesterday every thing ok see mr smalls next wednesday then go onto list
