Error Message When Uploading Photo's

Evening All,

I haven't posted for a while and was hoping to upload some photo's prior to re-de-lurking, however I am presented with the following error message when attempting to upload jpg's:

/home/wlsurgery/photogallery/uploads/24854: Error creating directory (check permissions).

Please notify the System Administrator.

Please can someone advise on the cause of this error and what I can do to upload my photos?

Hi Dan,

You need 50 posts to upload to both the Gallery and your own Profile Albums.

But you can upload attachments to your posts or if you have your photos sites like Photobucket you can copy your photos from there.
