Hi everyone! I think I have finally saved enough money to get surgery in Europe, anyone got experience of doing that as funds are very tight and desperate to sort asap

Hi there, there are a number of people who have gone abroad for treatment, myself included. I would advice that price shouldn't be the deciding factor. Research the surgeon as much as possible. At the end of the day you are putting your life in their hands.

Another aspect is, if you stay within the EU then at least you have the EHIC as an emergency treatment back up if anything goes wrong. There is a thread called Belgium Surgery where a few if post if you want to browse through. Good luck with your research.
