Went for my one stop clinic appointment today and to be honest 3 1/2 hours passed like a whirlwind. First there was the group talk with the nurse then with a dietician. Then in to see Doctor New (mr Ammori was there but sharing patients), Then another Doctor. Then sent for Bloods. Then asked to go for ECG (stripping top half naked - i was a lovely shade of crimson lol)and Blood Pressure recheck - which was fine. Then told i was to go to Pre Op - wasnt expecting that!?? Spent a bit of time with a lovely American lady going back through medical history and I think we chatted forever lol. I was then told i was put on the waiting list?? Wasnt expecting that either!! Double shock. They then asked me to go and have my photos taken for before and after shots! So just waiting for my date now and should be sorted with 12 weeks or so it seems a bit more real now!!! :chores016:

Wow, that some going lol...it wasnt that quick for me at Salford. Looks like they are speeding things up which has got to be a good thing! Good Luck on getting a speedy date XX

thanks everyone it is brilliant news when you first start this journey you think its so far away but 2 1/2 years has flown by and i cant wait to be on the losers bench. Im really happy that my whole family are behind me on this one and even have my mum who was a cook looking at doing a menu for me which will help so much.
