Hey everyone

Was wonderin if you could all give me some ideas on exercise that would help me on my way : ) i have 3 slipped discs in my back and since april they have been compressing on my nerves to my left leg so i am using crutches to mobilise i dont want to let this stop me from keeping fit anyway i can i am commited to working alongside my band to get this weight shifted! I have physio once a week and once im 6 weeks post op i will be continuing my hydro every monday and going to my local pool every thursday! Anyone have any ideas of things that i can do with my limited mobility? Just want to start loosing weight so my back and mobility will improve. Charlie xxx
 
Are you able to manage to do more swimming? Something that wont put too much stress on your problem back/joints?

Also, speak to the physio, they will most certainly be the best people to advise on the activity that you can do and which will benefit you :)

Are you able to cycle? Exercise bike could be good if you can . . .
 
Thanks top kat im hoping to try and do a bit more swimming but i will be starting college in a couple of weeks so once i know my timetable i want to try and fit in at least 1more swimming session in every week. Ive tried the exercise bike but at the moment the pain in my leg is too intense to do more than 2-3 minutes but i suppose a little is better than nothing! Ive just ordered some dumbells, an elastic rowing thing and thigh cruncher off littlewoods so they will be here monday just want to do as much as i physically can, god i feel so nervous for my 1st bandfill in the morning more than i was for the actual op haha xxx
