Got up this morning and within 30 second felt really faint, clammy and racing pulse - back to bed. 30 mins later went to make a cuppa and ensure kids were getting up and could only manage to put the kettle on. Have managed to make cuppa in 3 stages and had yoghurt for breakfast. Don't think I will be moving far today. Yesterday I was on top of the world, at the momment I can barely function. I hope it's my body saying rest rather than anything untoward.:(

Has this happened to anyone else???

It could just be lack of cals , or low blood pressure or low blood sugar or dehydration , if it continues call either your team or GP .
Hope you feel better soon xx

Hi

I get this as well, not only getting up from the bed but also from sitting, I know in my case it's not BP or BG as I have checked both when I do feel like I am going to faint, in my case I suspect it's a lack of fluids as I do struggle drinking enough.

Spent the day ensuring I drank, had protein rich meals (fluids) and by the end of the day and this morning feel on top of the world - yahoo. Think I was having a mini panic that it was BP and that I was having an internal bleed, totally irrational. But thanks for your comments and support xx

Don't think you're being irrational Vonone, it's a big operation We've been through. Everytime I feel a twinge or pain I think is everything ok?? I felt great yesterday but suddenly had a wave of tiredness that knocked me for 6, had to go to bed for an hour!
Took my dressings off, I've got 35 staples to have taken out next week! Not looking forward to that :/

Glad you're feeling better today x
