fast tabs

sorry to be a pain but im sufferng from an alergicreacton my gp says it could be from anythng but looking at everything ive eaten , taken, used etc. i have afeelng it could be the fast tabs. i havent had them for the past couple of days and im nowere near as red, spoty r itchy. i know on tablets and cream but was taking them nealy a week and not much diferent, stop takng tabs and so much beter practcally nstantly , could it be just concidence.................kath x
 
Hi Kath didnt really want to read and run but cant really advise you on this. I know it varies from surgeon to surgeon, but mine recommends you have ppi's (fast tab) for life once you are bypassed. If this is the cause of your itching etc then maybe you could try another type of ppi (omeprazole or esomeprazole maybe). You need to speak with your weightloss team about this really.

I have had terrible itching (especially on my tum for some reason) since the op and just assumed it was all part of the physiological changes my body is going through.

ty i am gong to rng them on monday but i just wondered if anyone else had had the same problem. ............kath x
 
hiya Kath, i haven't had that problem but my surgeon said i could stop taking them after i was readmitted a few weeks after op, he said as i hadnt had any acid reflux or anythin it would be ok to stop taking them.
