Hi Everyone

Wondered if Everyone wanted to post their face high protein foods, snacks and recipes.

I have noticed that Jodie Marsh has recently started doing her own protein powders, she obv uses them for her body building but wondered if they could be good for post op too?

Another protein rich natural foods?

Dont waste your money on powder buy good food!Steak, chicken, lamb, pork, salmon and seafood.Cheese is my fave!

My dietician also advised against protein powders etc. try to get natural sources as above. I find it very difficult as I can't tolerate meat very easily so do go for some high protein soups 18g a portion to give me a little boost. I try with fish, prawns etc but the highest is lobster yum but my bank balance won't stretch LOL also I like lentils (great made into veg curry), pulses & beans - these are nice & cheap. Also mashed banana & a spoonful of peanut butter.

There is a place for protein shakes (and I can see why body builders use them) but that place is not in my house lol. Very expensive, taste vile and upset my stomach.

If you were thinking of trying them, try a few samples first - thats my tip xx

I snack on nuts, almonds, walnuts, macadamias etc. I am in love with smoked mackeral at the moment but I only but the bone free pieces and one bone and I'm put off the whole lot. I eat light babybels as snacks too and of course my staple favourite 0% fat free Greek yogurt (Fage) mixed with seeds which I'm eating right now for breakfast.

What seeds do you use.
