Hi I had bypass on 20th may I had blood test done at doctors last week and results say nothing to be concerned about except iron a little low. I've bought some iron liquid and includes B12 to see if it gives me some energy. What have you had done? I'm glad I'm not alone feeling like this though. X
I had a bypass a few days before you. Had B12 yesterday, and bloods done for one of just about everything on the form. It will be interesting to compare the ones I had earlier this year.
I'm tired, tired and more tired. I also have an added bonus of nausea and being saliva sick for hours on end.
I'm 4 weeks post op and feel the same- still off work- got another week off and dreading going back cos I don't feel that I can keep up . Any advice from the long timers out there? P.s. I'm taking a daily multivitamin and had a B12 injection from the doctor.
Hi some people say that vitamin B12 works wonders I don't think I will get one for 6 months then every 3 so I thought I would take a supplement as feeling so tired don't know how I could work either good luck c
Yeah fatigue for me is part of the package but I suffered with this pre op also as I have M.E your body is also surviving on little food input which is why protein is a key ingriedient to wls as it sustains you for longer. Glad your feeling alittle better today from an ME point of view until ur feeling better pace yourself ie if you do a little rest a little it does help
I really feel for you - I'm only a week post my sleeve op and feeling absolutely shattered; there are elderly cats who sleep less than I do, I'm sure. I so hope we all get an energy infusion soon.
Particular hugs for Jemima, you sound very low xxx
