Feeling so HAPPY today! Things are looking up!!!

Well,
Just wanted to share with you lovely people...
Today is the first day I realise how smaller I have become since the surgery 5 months ago.
I'm getting in a 16 Jean!!! Wowza....
And tops well I can easily get into 14,some I'm smaller depending on the fit.
Not bad if I say so myself after being in a size 26 for so long!
It's such a great feeling..walking into any shop and being able to buy anything!!
It can be so overwhelming as I've never been able to buy nice things for myself,and I'm currently buying too many lovely tops!
It's a novelty at the minute as I've never had this before.
And I've just spoke to my dietician and I've lost 50% of my excess weight..
Wow is this really happening to me!
I'm so happy today,I'm living my life and not through food!!!

I'm so lucky..
Oh and thanks for your tip about the nuts.
I have made a jar up and keep a selection of brazil nuts,walnuts etc
To get in a little protein throughout the day x

I bought a pot of roasted soya beans flavoured in soy sauce today from "The Food Doctor". They're yummy and full of protein.

After all I know before my surgery you have so many different feelings..
I for one wondered if I was doing the right thing having a bypass,
So when I was a pre-op reading a post like this gives you a bit of inspiration.

Well done Emma be proud of yourself as well as happy, this wouldn't have happened without your hard work. I was a 24-26 and am now a 10-12 (without excess skin would be 8-10) and I love buying clothes because I like them, nit because they fit

Well done, as it has been said before, hearing these stories is such an inspiration . I am in a size 30 and cannot imagine being able to shop for clothes in ANY shop. I have two weeks to go and am on a liquid pre op. Day 3 and boy, it's hard.
