day 9 of liver diet and really feeling dizzy and faint also head is killing and feel so weak carnt wait till next thursday so its over hate this diet sick of looking at milk

Oh Kellie, Sorry to hear you're feeling this way . . .I share the thought on the milk tho, and yes, am with you on the day 9 thing . . .I miss chewing lol strange as it may seem.
I had a day yesterday where I felt tired (which for me as an insomniac is almost unheard of lol) but I had an early night and I've been cleaning the house and even cleaned the carpets today . . .the only thing is tho, doing so much makes me feel hungry and milk/yoghurt/jelly doesn't touch that spot.

Just think where we will be this time next week . . .:D

On the information I was given it suggests chewing gum to keep your jaws exercised, although gum is not recommended after surgery, it could help a bit before.

Can't help with the milk thing, although most of the advice is milk diet or 1000 cal high protein/low carb, so I wonder if maybe a scrambled egg or bit of cheese might not be too bad and may help as a one off at a really tough moment?

I did the milk diet for 6 weeks a few years ago, yet now I couldn't even do it for 2 days, so I take my hats off to you both for getting so far and wish you luck for next week.

thanks just feel like crying today just feeling sorry for myself lol il be fine tomorrow on the plus side iv lost 4 lbs up to now x

Sending hugs your way Kellie! I have those tearful moments too, and its an emotional journey and this is a big decision and a big thing we will be going through. Chuck in the fears, the trying to get everything sorted, and the whole daily life, it's not surprising we feel this way.

No pressure, but if you want a "text buddy" give me a shout, am more than happy to x

Bless you both its just over a year ago that i was on the milk and yoghurt diet, i did get bad heads but it was school holidays so i wasn't at work to really notice the tiredness. It will be worth it in the end ladies when your op is done laproscopically it is the quickest way to recover much better than having open procedure, the milk diet does work I lost 11 or 12lb i was tickled pink with that. Good luck ladies counting down in single days now so its getting closer for you all. Stay strong I know it is an emotional time most ladies have family and husbands/partners to worry about as well as themselves it is a very emotional time when we really get to grips with what might happen and how they will cope without us. The answer is they do cope and they do help you when you come home. Stay as calm as possible and make a list of all the things you would like to acheive after losing the weight, where you would like to go, things you would like to do, etc I still want to go white water rafting but want bit more weight off 1st. Good luck girls xx

Hi wobbletogo! I sent you an email today. Want to know how you are doing. I fly out tomorrow. Will try to connect from the hospital. Hugs,

Oh, won't get a chance to meet you. Will all three of you be gone tomorrow? I get in kind of late.
Have a good trip back home, and a wonderful rest of journey, full of positivism and change!
