Fill needed but can't access port site

Hi all

Just been for my 3rd fill today and after sticking me 3 times she said she could see the outside of the port but couldn't access it.

As I have a overactive mind I am now thinking the worst even though I am booked in again next week with a different nurse to try again.

Is this a common thing I am over 5 stone down so I would have thought the port would be easier to acccess?

All advice welcome ??

It might have flipped, but don't panic just yet - see what the next nurse says.

I had one fill (think it was my second) where they had massive trouble finding the port. I panicked, but since then I've had it emptied twice and had half a dozen fills and never had another issue.
Hopefully yours will also just be a one-off.

My port flipped when I went for my first fill, had a small procedure to correct about two weeks after and never had an issue with it ever since. See what they say and take it from there . All the best BD xx
