Fills and ports

My port is usually found above my big scar (it's where it usually gets filled) today I've just noticed as I removed the plaster that it's been done below my port today. It was a different nurse but now I'm worried! Could she have punctured the line or missed even. It really felt like she hit the back of the port like usual !!

My fills have been below my port scar....although I know Kirsty's port is towards bottom of her tummy...!

Maybe your ports moved a bit?? X

Yeah possibly. It's just weird :/ x

It might just be that the needle went in at a different angle

It's not unusual for the port to move a little, especially as your body changes. Hopefully everything will be fine for you.

As body changes/reduces/fat diminishes the port will move. Imagine a ball Sat on a mound of melting ice cream....
