Hi Gary had go back into hospital Tuesday night hadn't kept anything down 5 days got back last night got go back tuesday to have a endoscopy it been very hard until yesterday had any foods and kept down for 7 days had plenty of liquids while 2 days in hospital thanks for advice last week
 
I had a similar experience. Developed allergies to medication. Couldn't Keep anything down. Been in hospital twice for hydration, feeding & investigations. Had an endoscope stretch & was great. Have to have another one on 3 May. Still don't regret sleeve op & lost nearly 5 stone so far.

Hi was you put sleep when they did endoscope what happens any information not worried about it just wonder what happens thanks .i don't not regret my bypass should done 10 years ago
 
I was sedated but remember everything. You have to be positioned on your side & throat aligned. A tube with a camera & if necessary very tiny instruments are inserted via your mouth/throat. It wasn't pleasant but it was painless & very quick to be honest. The team were very understanding & really helped me through it. Not worried about having it again in May. Just had a bit of a sore throat for a day or two. The relief after was amazing.
Wish I'd be known about this op 10 yers go LOL good luck.

Hi had my endoscopy today feeling a lot better wasn't very nice but least it was done and dusted I did have some narrowing they did balloon and manage some veg soup today without blending first time I've eaten something without blending in 14 weeks so thanks for advice
 
Good for you endoscopies aren't very pleasant at any time but if its helped then it was worth it. xxkeep up the good work xx
 
I am getting disparate as mine is not until 3rd of may & feels like I have a blockage in the middle of my chest. Can't eat a thing today but not bing sick like before.
