Finally got my date!

After having to postpone it once, I've just had confirmation of my surgery date, the 15th September! Still a couple of months away but at least I can plan around it and start educating my husband that all those jobs around the house are not, in fact, done by house elves after all!

Great news you will need all the time you can get. The kids knew how to do the house elves jobs better than he did when I had my hysterectomy. Even the labels with instructions on strategic machines was over his head and he's Mensa standard.

Well, it's only a week to go now and I've managed to keep really busy so not had too much time to be nervous. I haven't packed my bag for hospital yet and have been concentrating on doing things which I know I won't be able to do for a while afterwards.
